ISO 9001 Quality and Training
Know where you stand before the certification body does, and build effective procurement.
A quality manual not reread since the first certification. Procedures describing an organisation that no longer exists. Purchases ordered by phone and invoices matched by hand at the end of the month.
Goodwill is rarely what is missing. What is missing are clear processes, rules that reflect reality, tools that apply them and trained teams.
SADIS, a Moroccan company based in Laâyoune and Casablanca, tackles both subjects together: ISO 9001 preparation and structuring procurement, all the way to the ERP.
Preparing for ISO 9001:2015
Certification is not won by piling up binders. It is won by proving that you control your processes, measure your results and correct your nonconformities. Our support starts from your actual practices:
- Process mapping, with the interactions, owners, indicators and control points of each process.
- The quality management system: useful, controlled and up-to-date documentation, with nothing superfluous.
- Process audits, conducted using the method of a certification audit: interviews, review of evidence, comparison between what is written and what happens on the ground.
- The audit report, which ranks nonconformities and sets a corrective action plan, tracked until they are closed.
- The management review, prepared with the indicators, the status of actions and the points requiring a decision.
A revision of the ISO 9001 standard has been announced. A system built on living processes will adapt without rewriting everything.
The mock audit
The mock audit reproduces the approach of an external auditor. It questions teams about their actual work, asks for records and notes every gap between rule and practice.
With no certification at stake, your teams get used to the exercise and management discovers its weak points in time. It is conducted by an ISO 9001 lead auditor qualified by Bureau Veritas, a course recognised by IRCA.
SADIS prepares, but does not certify. Certification is still issued by an independent body of your choice.
Structuring procurement
A purchase is won as early as the needs definition. A poorly described need produces offers that cannot be compared and disputes at delivery. So the process is defined before the tool:
- A written workflow: who requests, who consults, who orders, who receives, and when.
- Approval thresholds known to everyone, no longer dependent on whoever happens to be present.
- Reliable master data: items, suppliers, pricing terms. Without it, the same item exists under three different names.
The procurement process then becomes part of the quality process map, with its indicators and controls.
Training buyers
The training covers the entire purchasing process:
- Needs definition, turned into a usable specification.
- Sourcing, to qualify suppliers beyond habit.
- Tendering to several suppliers on an identical basis.
- Comparing offers on explicit criteria, not just price.
- Negotiation, prepared on the basis of the comparison.
Sessions take place on site or remotely, using your own files. They are led by practitioners of procurement and information systems.
Digitalising procurement in the ERP
Once the process is defined, the ERP applies it with no extra effort:
- Purchase requests, subject to approval thresholds.
- Supplier purchase orders, generated from approved requests and the pricing master data.
- Goods receipts, recorded on arrival with any discrepancies.
- Invoice matching against the order and the receipt: you only pay for what was ordered and received.
SADIS deploys, configures and integrates Sage, Odoo and other ERPs. SADIS is neither an official partner nor a reseller of Sage or Odoo. See the Sage deployment and configuration and Odoo deployment pages. If a step specific to your organisation is missing, custom development connected to the ERP covers it, rather than an Excel file.
Managing with dashboards
- Lead times, from request to order, then to receipt.
- Supplier service rate: who delivers what was ordered, on the scheduled date.
- Stock-outs, to address their root cause.
- Savings achieved, to measure what the method delivers.
These indicators feed directly into the process review and the management review.
What you receive
- Written procedures, faithful to what is actually done.
- Document templates: purchase requests, comparison grids, tender documents.
- Ready-to-use dashboards.
- For quality: the process map, the audit report and the corrective action plan.
A single point of contact
Digitalisation fails when it computerises a process that was never clarified. Quality runs out of steam when the tools do not follow the procedures. At SADIS, the process defined with your teams is the one configured in the ERP, and its indicators are those of the management review.
Before founding SADIS in Morocco, its founders spent six years on freelance assignments within large French industrial groups. Overview of the areas covered: SADIS business divisions.
Frequently asked questions
Can SADIS certify our company to ISO 9001?
No. SADIS prepares you for certification, which is issued by an independent body of your choice.
What is an ISO 9001 mock audit?
It is an internal audit conducted like a certification audit, before the official audit. It ranks nonconformities and leads to a corrective action plan.
Do we need to rewrite all our quality documentation?
Rarely. What is useful is kept and updated; the rest is streamlined.
Can the procurement training be done remotely?
Yes. Sessions take place on site or remotely, using your own purchasing files.
Can we digitalise our procurement with our current ERP?
Yes. The workflow is configured in your existing ERP, whether Sage, Odoo or another, and supplemented if needed by connected development.
